International Partnerships (SGFF)

The Sai Global Federation of Foundations (SGFF) brings together an international community of organisations across 32 countries, which share the common goal of alleviating human suffering, promoting environmental responsibility and creating new opportunities for those in need. SGFF is a non-religious, non-denominational, non-political group promoting harmony by serving humanity. It transcends the barriers of gender, caste, creed, ethnicity, nationality, and colour. All Foundations and Trusts under SGFF are non-profit organisations that work independently, collectively and in collaboration by exerting efforts in a focussed and purposeful manner, creating significant impact, throughout the world. SGFF has established 11 Centres for Human Development each in the 12 countries of Australia, Fiji Islands, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Italy, Turkey, Argentina, and USA. These development centres run several projects of service like free medical clinics, free nutritious food for the homeless, providing scholarship for students, taking care of orphaned children, organising English and Computer literacy classes, yoga, aerobic, music classes, and vocational skills training, visiting elderly and disabled homes, protecting abandoned animals, extending services to rehabilitation centres, contributing towards clean environment initiatives, conducting blood donation camps and health awareness campaigns…etc.

PBT is one of the important Trusts under SGFF that is established for the sake of providing for the basic necessities of nutrition, education, and health in the sub-continent of India. The Trust also provides international cooperation for its sister hospitals at Fiji, Nigeria and Sri Lanka that are currently managing medical centres/ hospitals.

Love All-Serve All is the guiding principle of Sai Global Federation of Foundations. Accordingly, the Foundation works together to meet the most pressing needs in the local areas as well as across global frontiers. The core value of the Foundation is to recognise that love for all creation is the unifying, guiding and driving force behind everything, and to believe that love is best expressed as service when it arises from the source of a deep bond of a global family that rises above all differences.

The member organisations work together to create a synergy of coordinated service. For example, the Annapoorna Morning Nutrition programme identified a child that was suffering due to certain health defects. The volunteers arranged for the child to be diagnosed by the doctors at one of the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Pediatric Heart Care Hospitals that detected severe, but reversible congenital heart disease. The child received the needed corrective surgery at the hospital itself at no cost.

SGFF also collaborates across borders with non-member groups such as Rotary International and MAP International, who have helped in the setting up of Cath Labs at the Sanjeevani Pediatric Heart Care Hospitals in India and the provision of medicines for the hospitals in Nigeria and Fiji. All programmes and services undertaken by SGFF member organisations are offered completely Free of Cost to the beneficiaries.
